Leges Motus Progress: Server Browser
I promised that I would give an update soon about progress on Leges Motus, and here it is:
Today, I added the client code for a server browser to the game. This was holding us back from a beta release, because without a server browser, there was no way to connect to a server without knowing its exact address. Not good for end-users, to say the least.
That has all changed, and we now have a spiffy-lookin’ server browser that works rather nicely.
Here’s a screenshot:
As you can see, it has information (that will be fleshed out in the future) about each server, and buttons to go back, refresh the list, and join the server.
At the moment, the server browser does not show the server you’re currently connected to. We may change that in the future.
