Leges Motus Progress – Getting Stuck
No, I’m not talking about development getting stuck. There was a bug that caused players to occasionally move inside objects if they had too low a framerate – they wouldn’t update their position frequently enough, and the scaling on the movement function would move them too far before checking for collisions.
I fixed the bug, so now movement will be checked at certain intervals even if the function isn’t called frequently enough. This should prevent people from getting stuck for the most part.
We also made some more server browser and connect/disconnect fixes today, polishing things up for a release. Tomorrow, we’ll be updating the website and making it more usable.
